Fruit Fidget: privacy policy
What the Fruit Fidget app keeps on your device, what it sends for usage analytics, and how to ask for information or deletion.
Summary
Fruit Fidget has no account, no sign-up and no server of its own. What you log in your sessions stays on your device. To understand how the app is used, it sends usage events, with no name, email or phone number, to Google's Firebase Analytics.
Who is responsible for the data
The app belongs to MS Labs (CNPJ 65.699.346/0001-75), a Brazilian company that decides how the data is used (the controller under Brazil's data protection law, the LGPD). Questions and requests can be sent by email at misael@mslabs-dev.com.
What stays only on your device
The tension level you report before and after each session, session length, the days you took a pause, and your preferences (fruit, sound, breathing pattern, reminder time). None of this leaves your device as a history, and all of it is deleted when you uninstall the app.
What is sent for usage analytics
The app uses Firebase Analytics to learn which parts are used and where people give up. It sends:
- An installation identifier generated by Firebase. It is not your name or email, and it changes if you reinstall the app. The app does not use your device's advertising ID.
- Usage events: session start and end (with the fruit, sound, breathing pattern and how many seconds it lasted), the tension level reported at the start, the difference between start and end, whether you turned the reminder on or off and at what time, and taps on the share button.
- Technical data Firebase collects on its own: device model, OS and app version, language, and approximate region (country or state), which Google derives from your IP address. The app does not use GPS.
We do not sell data and do not use any of it for advertising.
What we use it for
- Knowing whether sessions are finished and which features are used, to improve the app.
- Finding screens that get in the way or make people give up.
The tension level is a number from 1 to 10 that you choose. It shows how you felt before and after the pause. Fruit Fidget is not a medical device and does not diagnose anything.
Legal basis
Legitimate interest (LGPD, art. 7, IX), limited to what we need to understand usage and improve the app.
Who we share it with
| Service | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Google (Firebase Analytics) | app usage analytics (Google's privacy policy) |
Google may store this data outside Brazil, under the safeguards of art. 33 of the LGPD.
Device permissions
The app does not ask for access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files or location. It only asks for notification permission if you turn on the daily reminder. The reminder is scheduled on your device, and you can turn it off at any time in Customize.
How long we keep it
- On your device: until you uninstall the app.
- In Firebase Analytics: for the retention period set in Google Analytics. After that, Google deletes the events.
Your rights
You can ask us to confirm whether we process your data, and to access, correct or delete it, or to tell you who we share it with (LGPD, art. 18). Send your request by email at misael@mslabs-dev.com and we will reply within 15 days. Since the app never asks for your name or email, uninstalling it deletes everything on your device and retires the installation identifier.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not ask for data that identifies who is using it.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts collecting something new, this page changes before the update reaches the stores. The date of the last update is shown at the top.
